DISCOVER THE CENTER FOR THE ARTS – A SPECIAL INVITATION FOR THE VIRGINIA TECH WOMEN’S CLUB

Keynote Speaker Margaret Lawrence is a resourceful, creative, deeply experienced arts administrator and

performance curator with a recognized track record of culturally inclusive arts projects, an

impressive network of national and international artists and institutional partners, and a passion

for community and educational engagement.

Margaret welcomes the opportunity to connect with the Virginia Tech Women's Club. Her special

presentation will highlight the many ways VTWC members can engage with the Center--whether

through world-class performances, contemporary exhibitions, dynamic workshops, or thought-

provoking artist talks. We hope the presentation will spark interest, inspire visits, and create new

connections between the Women's Club and the Center for the Arts.

WINTER SERVICE PROJECT

We will be collecting items for 209 Marketplace, the food bank that serves VT students.

RAFFLES AND SILENT AUCTIONS TO SUPPORT THE SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Bring your cash or checkbook and discover the irresistible offerings brought to us by the

Ways and Means Committee. All proceeds go to the VTWC Scholarship Fund.

Weather Policy: If Montgomery County Schools are closed, the luncheon will be cancelled and moved

to Tuesday, February 24, 2026.
