GARDENING

On Wednesday, March 9 at 2:00 PM at the Blacksburg library, the Gardening Interest Group will have a planning session to hear what the members would like to do. This meeting will be “a little brainstorming.”

We plan to include light duty activities. We will be visiting local gardens such as the Hahn, Blacksburg Community Gardens, Price House, Christiansburg Museum, Happy Hollow Gardens Park, Mill Mountain Wildflower Garden. Trips to local gardening centers, such as Third Day Nursery, Crow's Nest, Poor Boy's Produce, (no chains), will take place in the spring. Trips will also include lunch at nearby restaurants (no chains).
